Food Basics Negotiations Update
November 30, 2023
Your Food Basics Collective Agreement, which expired on August 19, 2023, covers approximately 7,850 bargaining unit members at 114 stores in Ontario.
Your union met with the employer in negotiations on August 15 – 17, October 18 – 19, November 1 – 3 in Conciliation and November 21, 22, 23, 27, 28, 29 and 30, 2023.
We are pleased to report that the Union has reached a recommended Memorandum of Agreement with Food Basics on November 30, 2023.
Ratification votes will be conducted in the coming week, please watch your bulletin boards and our website for updates.
