COVID – 19 Crisis Update: Union Office Closures
March 16, 2020
An Update on the COVID – 19 Crisis:
Providing excellent service to our Members and keeping you safe and healthy remain our top priorities. Through this crisis with COVID – 19, your Union Representatives will continue to provide servicing in a scaled-back manner with limited person-to-person meetings to help limit potential virus transmission.
Your Union remains here for you. If you need to reach out to your Union Representative, please use the Find Your Rep feature on our homepage.
Necessary meetings that cannot be rescheduled for a later date – such as those for grievances or bargaining – will continue when required. Please respect an appropriate social distance from your Union Representatives to keep everyone as safe as possible.
Starting Wednesday, March 18, 2020, and until further notice, the Local Union’s regional offices will be closed.
All office staff will be working from home. Union Reps will be continuing to service as noted above.
We encourage you to reach out to your Union Rep directly when needed. You can use the Find Your Rep feature on the website here or send an email to membership@ufcw175.com, which is monitored Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Please check back on the website for updates and follow our accounts on Facebook and Instagram as well.
Thank you to all of you for the ongoing dedication and care you bring to your jobs each and every day. Please take care of yourselves and your loved ones. And, know that your Union is here to support you throughout this crisis.
In Solidarity,
Shawn Haggerty, President UFCW Local 175 & Kelly Tosato, Secretary-Treasurer UFCW Local 175
