Congratulations to our most recent retirees! We hope you all enjoy your well-deserved retirement

Robin Bassindale recently retired from Unilever Simcoe on November 7, 2018 after 21 years.

Keith Bradley worked at Canadian Linen in Ottawa for 17 years. He plans on relaxing and enjoying his time off but also intends on working part-time to keep active and busy.

Richard Boileau worked for 18 years at Ridgewood Industries as a General Labourer. During his time at Ridgewood he was on the Health and Safety Committee for 10 years where he helped ensure that the workplace was safe for all employees. His retirement plans are to travel during the summer, and he is working part-time as a taxi cab driver. Richard is still in touch with the lifelong friends he made at Ridgewood. He retired on August 3, 2018.

After 36 years of hard work at McNairn Packaging, Raoul Chiasson retired in June, 2018.

Rita Dufresne retired from Ridgewood Industries in Cornwall on April 27, 2018. She worked there for 18 years and for 13 of those was a general labourer. She spent her last 5 years in hardware. Her retirement plans are to spend time with her family and to do things for them now that she could not do when she was working. Rita says that she only has good things to say about being a member of the union and appreciated the help of her Chief Steward Jean Patenaude over the years.

Marcel Lamothe began working at Agropur, Division of Natrel in Sudbury in 1973 and retired on July 14, 2017.

Debbie Pihulak retired on December 1st after 34 years of service at Safeway in Dryden. Debbie worked as a cashier, in the produce department and retired from the bakery.  Debbie sat on the most recent set of negotiations and is now enjoying her time with her grandchildren, hockey, and says she is definitely not bored.

Sharon Rushlow from Cavendish Appetizers in Wheatley retired on September 1, 2018.

After 22 years at Mc Nairn Packaging Truman Wilks retired at the end of December 2018.
