Union members working at golf courses for the City of Thunder Bay achieved a new agreement on October 5, 2017.

The 25 part-time employees secured wage increases of 1.5% as well as 5 cents per hour, in each year of the three-year contract term. The negotiating committee secured important language to set aside one bereavement day for delayed internment when required. Members at the golf courses work as rangers, starters, attendants, and clerks.

Union Negotiating Committee: Ken Bazaluk, Bailey Fowler, and Union Rep Tracy Stubbs.
