Production workers at Cintas in Sault Ste. Marie secure new collective agreement

On December 11, 2023 workers at the Cintas Production facility in Sault Ste. Marie secured a two-year collective agreement that was ratified by the membership.

Members will receive a total of 6% in wage increases over the next two years for all rates and classifications retroactive to the date of expiry. Included in the settlement was a $1,000 signing bonus and maintaining the minimum wage gap language.

Other improvements include:

  • RRSP matching contribution was increased from 0.46/hour to 0.65/hour.
  • Boot allowance increased from $170 – $250
  • An additional personal day
