Local 175 HOPE Sector members at the Barrington Retirement Home in Barrie secured a two-year collective agreement awarded through the Hospital Labour Disputes Arbitration Act (HLDAA) on July 14, 2021.

Members will receive wage increases of 2% in each year of the agreement. Payments will be retroactive for both current and previous employees to the date of expiry. We are also happy to report that after many attempts in previous rounds of bargaining, our members will finally have the benefit of a newly created UCP premium of $0.25/hour.
