Ancaster Food Basics employees win Customer Promise Award

Ancaster Food Basics employees won the Customer Promise Award, which recognizes a store based on customer feedback.
Out of the sixty-eight stores in their region, Food Basics store #976 in Ancaster won for this quarter which ran from December 24 – March 17. Stores are rated on freshness, customer satisfaction, ease of shopping, customer service and overall satisfaction. This is a great accomplishment in this busy retail season.
On June 8th, the Customer Promise Award ceremony took placed at the store and all full-time employees received pins and gift cards. Cake and coffee was served followed by a BBQ for staff.
The UFCW Local 175 Union members working at #976 are a dedicated, hard working, friendly group who work together as a family. They’re on a first name basis with many of their customers and truly make them feel welcome. This award is well deserved!
