Aramark workers achieve 3-year agreement

The 13 workers at Aramark Canada at the Sherbourne Health Centre had a ratification meeting on November 15, 2013.
Their new three-year deal achieves wage increases of 1.5% in year one, 2% in year two and another 2% in year three.
The allowance for work boots increases by $20 to provide $60 per 12-month period. In years two and three of the contract term, the employer will contribute $200 toward the Local 175 Training & Education Fund and workers receive an additional paid sick day in the last year of the agreement.
